DJ Almighty

Born in Brownsville Brooklyn NY raised up in east New York Brooklyn in pink house projects until the late ’90s migrated to New Jersey for some time then to Virginia in 1998 where the dream came true. I come from a family that was making that noise in the streets with the music inspired by his father Joseph Middleton aka Dj Peter Jeter and his uncle Gerard the (disco) jammers running the streets of Brooklyn in the ’70s-’80s later inspired by my uncle Al Forsyth, who introduced me to radio & the legendary Dj Watkins from cypress hills projects in east New York.

After DJ Watkins was responsible for introducing DJ Almighty was introduced to prince Markie D. Then he was the one who actually discovered Dee Dee Spinderella roper in the pink house projects community center when he spotted her djing a set with her now late boyfriend DJ Ad though not fairly credited for his connection from her to Sandra Denton aka Pepa he wasn’t fairly credited for the connection who then introduced him to the hip-hop industry most notably the Fat boy’s Prince Markie D, Whodini, Salt n Pepa, Jaz-o, and Fresh Gordon. He discovered Spinderella of Salt n Pepa although not fairly credited for that.

He managed to make it on his own moving to Virginia landing a spot on WNRN’s The Boom box 91.9 FM in Charlottesville VA where he now resides and operates 101.3 Jamz .  He also founded the soul of Charlottesville urban festival with friends in the city.  Follow him on Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat & Facebook
